[Financial News] Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, stated on the 27th, "HMM can be relocated to Busan at any time because the government holds shares. It can be relocated depending on the will."
Candidate Lee said in the 'Politics' sector 3rd TV debate hosted by the Central Election Management Committee on this day, "The reason for attracting HMM to Busan is because if Busan is developed as an Arctic route, it will become a central city for maritime ports," he said.
Candidate Lee, who answered that HMM is the predecessor of Hyundai Merchant Marine, emphasized, "Busan should be made a central city for maritime ports. That helps concentrate shipping logistics companies in Busan," and "Therefore, I will send HMM to Busan."
