'Politics' Sector 3rd TV Debate
[Financial News] Regarding the bribery allegations involving Ssangbangwool Group's remittance to North Korea, Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, refuted on the 27th, saying, "There is no basis for me being involved in the North Korea remittance. In fact, they say they remitted money for me, but I can't believe it."
In response to this claim by candidate Lee, Lee Jun-seok, the Reform New Party presidential candidate, criticized, "Would President Trump accept that they got caught remitting money to North Korea while trying to do smart farming after making underwear, and then lost gambling funds and are now blaming Lee Jae-myung?"
Candidate Lee Jae-myung, at the 'Politics' sector 3rd TV debate hosted by the Central Election Commission, seemed to target Ssangbangwool Group, saying, "There is also a rumor about gambling funds as they are being investigated for stock manipulation, but the truth will be revealed," he said.
Then candidate Lee Jun-seok pointed out, "Ssangbangwool made underwear and is mentioning smart farming to pursue North Korean business, but how truthful do you think that is?"
Previously, candidate Lee Jun-seok pointed out, "Ssangbangwool is having trouble with the North Korea remittance, and regardless of legal judgment, it could become a target of US sanctions," adding, "Even if candidate Lee Jae-myung becomes president, he might be barred from entering the United States."
