[Financial News] Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, pointed out the actions of Lee Junseok, the presidential candidate of the Reform New Party, on the day of the martial law declaration on December 3 last year.
Candidate Lee Jaemyung demanded an explanation from candidate Lee Junseok at the 3rd debate of the 21st presidential election held at the MBC studio in Sangam, Seoul, on the 27th, saying, "(On the day of martial law) Candidate Lee Junseok was drinking and then went home to shower and waste time, which is incomprehensible."
In response, candidate Lee Junseok said, "The house was nearby, and other lawmakers at the dinner did the same," adding, "The claim that I tried not to enter is false. The scene of me trying to enter was all recorded (on video)."
However, candidate Lee Jaemyung argued, "When you were arguing there, someone next to you said, 'Assemblyman, you have to go over the wall,' and you didn't stop them by saying, 'Shut up, man,' while others went over the wall."
When candidate Lee Junseok countered, "The vote was already over by then," Lee Jaemyung asked again, "The core of the question is why did you go home to shower and change clothes (and come out)? Wasn't it too leisurely?" However, candidate Lee Junseok replied, "I don't know what you want from the question. Are you trying to criticize me morally?" and added, "I didn't do it leisurely, I went immediately and came out immediately."
