[Financial News] Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party and Lee Jun-seok of the Reform New Party focused their attacks on Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea on the 27th. Candidate Kim Moon-soo raised the suspicion of 'sudden death', which means not nominating those who oppose him, while candidate Lee Jun-seok mentioned Lee's past claims of election fraud conspiracy.
First, candidate Kim Moon-soo criticized at the 21st presidential candidate debate hosted by the Central Election Management Committee held that day, saying, "There is a saying 'sudden death'. When his arrest motion was passed in the National Assembly, he removed those who opposed him (from the general election nomination) by claiming it was a collusion with the prosecution and (internal) opposition," and criticized "the division of 'sudden death' and 'pro-Myung fortune' that punishes those not on his side."
Candidate Lee Jun-seok targeted Lee by mentioning the election fraud conspiracy theory presented by former President Yoon Seok-yeol as a reason for declaring martial law, saying, "The original instigator of election fraud is here now. When evidence is presented, he repeats the irresponsible lie of 'I don't remember'," and pointed out, "Instead of apologizing when his statements are proven wrong, such as the hotel economics copied from a German Communist Party member, the 120 won coffee cost statement, and Turtle Island becoming a ghost island, he orders attacks by mobilizing political fandom."
In response, candidate Lee Jae-myung did not directly respond, saying, "There are unilateral claims and attempts to annihilate the opponent, and the extreme form is martial law," diagnosing the political polarization as "the fundamental cause stems from lazy and bad intentions of incompetent political groups that create conflicts between workers and companies, east and west, men and women, young and old, disabled and non-disabled to gain support from the other side." He then promised, "If I become president, I will restore communication, dialogue, and cooperation and properly use capable people without dividing sides."
