National Pukyong University and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced that they signed a business agreement for educational donations and social contribution cooperation in the field of regional coexistence at the main building of National Pukyong University on the morning of the 27th.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will discover and implement a social contribution model that works with the local community, such as joint volunteer activities, and establish a continuous social contribution cooperation system.
As the first project, they will newly establish and operate a regional study room program for local youth in collaboration with the LG Metro Small Library in Nam-gu, Busan, near the university.
Students from the PKNU Student Volunteer Group at National Pukyong University will serve as mentors for local elementary and middle school students here, and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation plans to support scholarships for participating university students.
In addition, the two institutions plan to promote various cooperation projects, such as forming and operating a joint volunteer group, hosting science quizzes for children, operating career experience programs for university students and local children, forming joint environmental clubs, and conducting climate education.
Furthermore, the two institutions will continue to develop and cooperate on projects that implement social value by jointly utilizing related facilities, human networks, knowledge information resources, and planning and developing programs related to educational donations and regional coexistence.
