'Wildfire Damage' Lee Ju-ho Acting Visits Sancheong "Full Effort for Rapid Recovery"

Lee Ju-ho, Acting President and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, visited the Korea Seonbi Culture Research Institute in Sancheong, Gyeongnam on the 27th to console the victims of the wildfire and inspect the wildfire damage recovery site.

Lee Ju-ho, the acting president, conveyed deep condolences to the victims of the area affected by this wildfire and said, "The government will do its best to support the rapid recovery and stabilization of life in all affected areas, including Sancheong County." First, Acting President Lee received a report on the status of relief for the victims and the wildfire recovery plan from Sancheong County, and requested meticulous support, including meals, daily necessities, and psychological stability, so that the victims can quickly return to their daily lives.

He also instructed to ensure thorough quarantine and hygiene management to prevent infectious diseases in the summer.

He then visited Sangji Village, which was damaged by the wildfire, to inspect the recovery situation of the slopes that became dangerous due to the wildfire.

Lee Ju-ho, the acting president, emphasized that while promoting recovery quickly, safety should also be considered, and especially in preparation for the upcoming rainy season, thorough measures should be taken to prevent damage, such as installing bypass drainage to prevent rainwater or earth and sand from flowing into the village.
