Triathlon event... Mayor Oh Se-hoon participates
The 'Leisurely Han River Triathlon Festival' will open its second event on the 30th at Ttukseom Hangang Park. In addition to sports events where participants can complete swimming, biking, and running at their own pace, various activities linked to the Han River have been prepared.The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 27th that the '2nd Leisurely Han River Triathlon Festival' will be held for three days from the 30th to the 1st of the next month. Without any ranking or record competition, the 'triathlon' will be held where participants can leisurely complete swimming, biking, and running at 'their own speed and style'. The triathlon, the main program of the festival, will be divided into beginner courses (15km) and advanced courses (31km) over three days. Participants can choose a course considering their fitness level and leisurely complete it at their own speed and style.
This year, various convenience services have been greatly expanded compared to last year, including △Han River wetsuit rental service △2600 Ddareungyi bikes available △additional changing rooms and showers, and a separate information booth for foreign participants will also be operated. This year's 'Leisurely Han River Triathlon Festival' will feature FC Seoul soccer player Jesse Lingard, Seoul city ambassador actress Park Jin-hee, and running coach YouTuber 'Genie Coach', who will participate in the opening ceremony, triathlon, and experience programs with citizens. Lingard will participate in the running event with Mayor Oh Se-hoon on June 1st. Goo Jong-won, director of the Seoul City Tourism and Sports Bureau, said, "We hope you will enjoy, relax, and create new memories at the Han River in this 'Leisurely Han River Triathlon Festival', which is armed with more diverse and abundant programs."
