Kim Moon-su, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, has thrown a bold move by organizing a supplementary budget of 30 trillion won on the day of inauguration. Considering that the People Power Party was initially passive about the supplementary budget, this is evaluated as a completely changed stance. It is interpreted as an attempt to reverse the political situation by actively jumping on the supplementary budget discussions led by Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea.

Lee Jun-seok, the candidate of the Reform New Party, also attacked candidate Lee Jae-myung by putting forward a pledge related to the Turtle Island Wave Park.

Candidate Kim announced "Six Promises to the People" at the central party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 27th, saying, "I will hold a joint meeting of the floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties on the day of inauguration and proceed with a 30 trillion won livelihood supplementary budget."

In addition, candidate Kim promised △National Cabinet Recommendation Committee △Emergency Economic War Room including businessmen and small business owners △Visit to the United States within a month of inauguration.

Candidate Kim emphasized, "I will do my best for the normalization of state affairs and the lives of the people as soon as the presidential election is over," and "I will focus on addressing livelihood issues."

Candidate Kim's pledge seems to be aimed at reaffirming his image as an 'economic president' by solidifying his will for economic stimulus and solving livelihood problems.

However, considering that candidate Kim and the People Power Party have consistently maintained a tax cut policy and previously defined the Democratic Party's 35 trillion won supplementary budget demand as 'populism,' it is expected to be difficult to avoid criticism for inconsistency.

Candidate Kim also proposed △Immediate appointment of a special inspector recommended by the opposition party △Prohibition of the First Lady's involvement in state affairs △Disclosure of the presidential residence living expenses under the pretext of 'eradicating presidential family corruption.'

Candidate Kim said, "The people's disappointment and anger at the appearance of the First Ladies have been so great that it clicks the tongue," and "I will break the chain of continuous misfortune caused by the misconduct of the president's family and relatives."

Candidate Lee Jun-seok also set angles against candidate Lee Jae-myung. By directly hitting Lee Jae-myung's Turtle Island Wave Park controversy, candidate Lee Jun-seok declared, "I will protect livelihood investors and break the vicious cycle of new city vacancies."

Candidate Lee Jun-seok specifically proposed △Complete redesign of the commercial land supply structure △Strengthening regulations on pre-review of sales advertisements and sales agencies △Mandatory investigation of the actual conditions by local governments and expansion of public leases △Introduction of a property tax deferral system for long-term vacant commercial properties.
