'UEL Winner' Tottenham - 'Carabao Cup Winner' Newcastle, Coupang Play Series Visit Confirmed

[Financial News] Tottenham Hotspur led by Son Heung-min and Newcastle United are invited to the Coupang Play Series this summer to meet with Korean fans.
Coupang Play announced on the 27th the visit of Tottenham, the 2024-2025 UEFA Europa League (UEL) champions, and Newcastle, the Carabao Cup champions, stating "Fans will be able to see the champion clubs of this season in Korea."
Newcastle is a prestigious club with four Premier League (EPL) titles and six FA Cup victories. They finished 5th in the league this season and achieved a league cup victory for the first time in 70 years by defeating Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final last March. Famous players like Alexander Isak, Bruno Guimarães, and Kieran Trippier are part of the team.
Newcastle expressed through Coupang Play, "It is meaningful to visit Korea for the first time in the club's history," and "We are happy to meet Korean fans directly. We will showcase the best game." This is the first time in the history of the Coupang Play Series that two EPL teams have been invited simultaneously.
This series is expected to showcase the UEL and Carabao Cup trophies. Additionally, 'Team K League', composed of K League All-Stars, will face Tottenham and Newcastle on the ground. Team K League consists of 11 'Fan Eleven' selected by fan votes, 1 'Coupang Young Player', and the best K League players additionally selected by the manager and coach.
Coupang Play stated, "Once the match approval process by the Korea Football Association is completed, we will officially announce the match schedule and ticket reservations." The Coupang Play Series is a football event hosted, organized, and broadcasted by Coupang Play during the European football preseason period, inviting prestigious clubs such as Tottenham, Manchester City, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich since 2022.
