KORAIL to Add 32 Commuter Train Services During Bus Strike

14 times during morning rush hour, 10 times during evening rush hour, 8 times during late night... Last train extended to 2 AM
The temporary commuter trains will be operated on 9 lines including Gyeongbu, Gyeongin, Gyeongwon, Ilsan, Suinbundang, Gyeongui-Jungang, Gyeongchun, Gyeonggang, and Donghae lines, with 14 times in the morning, 10 times during evening rush hour, and 8 times during late night, totaling 32 times.
To facilitate passenger convenience and distribution, the rush hour period will be extended by 1 hour to increase train deployment, and the last train will be extended to 2 AM the next day to support late-night travel.
Additionally, to alleviate congestion during peak times such as commuting hours, 1,412 dedicated staff will be deployed at 44 major stations to strengthen customer guidance.
