[Financial News] Lee Ju-ho, Acting President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, visited the Korean Seonbi Culture Research Institute in Sancheong, Gyeongnam on the 27th to comfort victims affected by the wildfire and inspected the wildfire damage restoration site.
Lee Ju-ho, Acting President, expressed deep condolences to the victims in the area affected by this wildfire, saying, "The government will do its best to promptly restore all affected areas, including Sancheong-gun, and support the stabilization of living conditions."
First, Acting President Lee received a report on the relief status of the victims and the wildfire restoration plan from Sancheong-gun, and requested meticulous support including meals, daily necessities, and psychological stability so that the victims can quickly return to their daily lives. He also instructed to ensure thorough quarantine and hygiene management to prevent infectious diseases during the summer.
He then visited Sangji Village, which was damaged by the wildfire, to inspect the restoration situation of the slopes that became dangerous due to the wildfire. Acting President Lee urged to proceed with the restoration quickly while paying attention to safety, and emphasized thorough preventive measures to prevent rainwater or earth and sand from flowing into the village, such as installing bypass drainage channels in preparation for the upcoming rainy season.
