[Financial News] The 'Generation Convergence Growth Headquarters' under the National Integration Committee directly under Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, will officially launch on the 28th. The core idea is to enhance the quality of life for the people as a whole by promoting integration and harmony, not division, among generations through various policy ideas that encompass all generations.
In particular, the '8 Major Implementation Policies' for the coexistence of youth, women, and the elderly will also be unveiled, symbolically showing that the concept of a 'social transformation platform' beyond existing welfare-centered policies is taking shape.
According to the Democratic Party's candidate on the 27th, a launch ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on the 28th in the National Assembly's small conference room, with the slogan "Building a social transformation platform through cooperation between political parties and civil society" to express the ambition to simultaneously solve the problems of entering a super-aged society, loss of opportunities for youth, and women's marginalization.
The Generation Convergence Growth Headquarters consists of a total of 104 implementation headquarters and over 2,500 staff members, emphasizing an approach focused on 'implementation policies' centered on industrial sites and frontline practitioners.
The key policies to be presented by the headquarters include △Youth job creation (local business, smart city, elderly industry linkage) △Welfare structure transformation based on women's leadership △Customized jobs for active seniors △Expansion of leisure vouchers and activation of life sports △Establishment of a virtuous cycle silver economy of consumption-production-investment △Medical transition based on smart healthcare △Creation of independent living zones based on continuous local residence (AIP), covering a total of 8 areas.
In particular, the youth policy sector includes expansion of non-commissioned officer and junior officer jobs linked to the selective conscription system, support for local startups in response to regional extinction, and activation of jobs based on AI (artificial intelligence) and smart cities, according to reports. The elderly policy is expected to propose jobs linked to smart farms, leisure town management, and AI care industry.
Lee Hae-hak, head of the Generation Convergence Growth Headquarters, stated, "We will build a 'social transformation platform' that enables intergenerational coexistence in real-life-based areas such as healthcare, AI, care, leisure, and defense, beyond existing welfare-centered policies."
