Council of Innovative Venture Organizations Delivers '150 Venture Tasks' to People Power Party

Venture policies for youth and future generations should be the top economic agenda
[Financial News] The Council of Innovative Venture Organizations, an alliance of major venture and startup organizations, announced on the 27th that it delivered '150 tasks for realizing an innovative powerhouse in four major areas' based on entrepreneurship at the office of the Chairman of the Policy Committee of the People Power Party at the National Assembly.
The Council of Innovative Venture Organizations is a private alliance organization launched in 2017, led by the Venture Business Association. It includes 18 private associations and organizations such as the Venture Business Association, Angel Investment Association, Women Venture Association, and Early Investment Accelerator Association.
The proposed key policy tasks include △mandatory investment in ventures and startups by 68 statutory funds △reform of the working hours system such as the 52-hour workweek △introduction of a 'Regulatory Innovation Standard Country' target system △decentralization of industrial regulatory authority.
The Council of Innovative Venture Organizations also held a meeting with the floor leadership of the People Power Party on April 1st, proposing policies such as △allowing venture investment in retirement pensions △expanding the quota for AI and software (SW) majors △flexibility of the 52-hour workweek, and some tasks have been reflected in presidential candidates' pledges.
Song Byung-jun, Chairman of the Venture Business Association, said, "Please strive so that ventures and startups can play the role of the starting pitcher for South Korea's national competitiveness."
Meanwhile, the Council of Innovative Venture Organizations held a policy delivery ceremony with the Democratic Party on the 15th and plans to deliver the same policy proposal to the Reform New Party soon.
