[Financial News] The Busan Cultural Center Foundation and Busan Nambu Police Station signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 27th for joint promotion and enhancement of community safety to prevent crime and accidents.
The signing ceremony held at the Busan Cultural Center was attended by Cha Jae-geun, CEO of Busan Cultural Center, and Ahn Young-bong, Chief of Busan Nambu Police Station, along with officials from both organizations. The two organizations agreed to maintain a close cooperative relationship and collaborate on crime prevention campaign promotions using the cultural center's advertising facilities, and strengthening security, crime prevention, and traffic management at the Busan Cultural Center.
In particular, according to the agreement, campaign videos for safety and crime prevention will be broadcast to Busan citizens in the theater lobby of the Busan Cultural Center before performances begin.
Cha Jae-geun, CEO of Busan Cultural Center, said, "Security and art may seem unrelated at first glance, but the order and safety essential to art events are inseparable from security," adding, "Through this agreement, we will create an environment where citizens can enjoy culture more safely."
Ahn Young-bong, Chief of Busan Nambu Police Station, said, "It is a meaningful opportunity to naturally inform citizens about various police activities," adding, "We expect a practical crime prevention effect through collaboration with cultural facilities."
