Shinhan Bank, 10 Million Spectators with KBO for 2 More Years... Title Sponsor for 10 Years

[Financial News]  The popular sport of professional baseball, KBO League, will continue its partnership by extending the title sponsorship contract with Shinhan Bank for 2 years.
KBO announced on the 27th that it signed an agreement to extend the title sponsorship contract with Shinhan Bank until 2027 at the KBO headquarters in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu. Both sides also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for long-term cooperation beyond 2027.
Shinhan Bank has been sponsoring the KBO League since 2018, making it the longest title sponsor in the history of Korean professional baseball for 10 years. Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank promised not only to provide financial services but also to support youth baseball and the national team to strengthen Korea's baseball competitiveness.
KBO plans to expand joint marketing and actively support cooperative projects so that Shinhan Bank can establish itself as the representative sponsor of the KBO League. As a title sponsor, Shinhan Bank has launched specialized financial products for baseball fans, such as savings and deposit products and team-exclusive cards. Additionally, through the Sol Baseball platform, they produce daily content such as match predictions and Sol Quiz, engaging with baseball fans.
Jung Sang-hyuk, the president of Shinhan Bank, said, "Through this partnership, we will provide differentiated services and financial benefits to KBO League fans and offer systematic financial asset management services as a reliable partner to baseball people." He also stated, "We will strengthen branding activities under the slogan 'Shinhan means baseball, baseball means Shinhan' and provide various customer experiences to baseball fans."
Heo Gu-yeon, the president of KBO, expressed, "I deeply appreciate Shinhan Bank's continuous interest and support for the development of the KBO League and the enhancement of fan experience," and added, "I hope this contract extension will create greater synergy for both sides."
