[Financial News] National Pukyong University and Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced that they signed a business agreement for educational donation and social contribution cooperation in the field of regional coexistence at the main building of National Pukyong University on the morning of the 27th.
The two institutions have agreed to establish a continuous social contribution cooperation system by discovering and implementing social contribution models together with the local community, such as joint volunteer activities through this agreement.
As the first project, a local study room program will be newly established and operated for local youth in collaboration with LG Metro Small Library in Nam-gu, Busan, near the university.
Students from the PKNU Student Volunteer Group at National Pukyong University will act as mentors for local elementary and middle school students here, and Korea Technology Finance Corporation plans to sponsor scholarships for participating college students.
In addition, the two institutions plan to promote various cooperation projects, including the formation and operation of a joint volunteer group, hosting science quizzes for children, operating career experience programs for college students and local children, forming joint environmental clubs, and conducting climate education.
Furthermore, the two institutions will continue to develop and cooperate on projects that realize social value by jointly utilizing related facilities, human networks, and knowledge information resources, such as jointly planning and developing programs related to educational donation and regional coexistence.
