Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 27th that it has signed a business agreement with Korea Arboretum and Garden Management Institute for 'Discovering Forest Tourism Resource Content and Promoting Regional Tourism'.
This agreement was prepared to establish a cooperative system to develop forest resources such as arboretums into tourism content and to create an environment where the public can enjoy nature in their daily lives.

Under this agreement, the two organizations will join forces for △ joint planning and promotion of tourism content themed around arboretums and forests △ discovering joint projects to promote regional tourism △ spreading sustainable tourism models.
Yoo Jin-ho, Head of Tourism Content Strategy Division at Korea Tourism Organization, said, "With this agreement, the organization plans to develop forest tourism content combined with ecological experience elements," and added, "Arboretums and gardens are tourism resources that encompass nature and culture beyond simple rest spaces, and we will build new tourism models through various approaches."
