【Financial News Incheon=Han Gapsu Reporter】 Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 27th that it will establish and operate the '7th Grade Local Public Officials Future Talent Development Course' from next year to foster long-term talent and resolve personnel bottleneck.
This course will be operated for 6 months from January 2026 and is designed to enhance the expertise of 7th-grade public officials who play a pivotal role in Incheon educational administration and systematically nurture future management candidates.
The training targets are assistant local education administration officers, selecting 40 people annually (20 each in the first and second half) to conduct a total of 840 hours of intensive training.
The city education office will conduct the training in a face-to-face group format at the Incheon Education Training Institute, focusing on improving planning skills, understanding public office and education policies, strengthening job competencies, communication and conflict management skills, informatization education, self-development capabilities, and cultural and artistic literacy, which are essential for public officials.
In particular, the city education office plans to support not only the educational administration job performance ability but also the discovery of personal job aptitude and capability development through case-based practical education and self-directed learning design.
Do Seonghun, Superintendent of Education, said, “This training course is not just a simple training but a strategy to systematically nurture practical talents who will lead the future of Incheon educational administration.”
