[Financial News] Kolon Group's IT service specialized company Kolon Benit transitions Netmarble's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to 'SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition'.
On the 27th, according to Kolon Benit, the current Netmarble ERP system will be transitioned to the latest version 'SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition' of 'SAP ECC 6.0' by August this year. SAP Kolon Benit plans to apply the new system to Netmarble after securing S/4HANA system stability and performing performance improvement tasks through various transition rehearsal tests during the approximately 7-month development period.
Netmarble can enhance operational stability and business competitiveness with the next-generation ERP upgrade. The adoption of a cloud-based ERP ensures system flexibility and efficiency, and additional cloud-based services can be quickly applied. Another major advantage is the interoperability with existing and external systems. This latest cloud-based SAP S/4HANA facilitates easy integration with external systems previously used by Netmarble, enhancing business continuity.
SAP S/4HANA increases data integration and processing speed of the Netmarble ERP system, and upgrades functions such as resource optimization and IT systems. Each SAP application module, such as FI (Finance), TR (Treasury), CO (Controlling), will also be optimized in line with the new system transition. The performance of each module will be maximized through data integration, data consistency verification, and process refinement.
Kolon Benit is expanding its external business based on its rich experience and know-how in the SAP S/4HANA transition project. Last year, Kolon Group's approximately 30 affiliates, which commonly use the SAP S/4HANA ERP system, transitioned to the cloud private edition, leading to high customer satisfaction through thorough work preparation and actual function verification processes. Kolon Benit efficiently completed the ERP system transition work by deploying experienced professionals in development/quality and other areas.
Kolon Benit Executive Director Jung Joo-young said, "We expect Netmarble to further enhance business productivity with the construction of the next-generation ERP system," adding, "Kolon Benit will help more customers accelerate the adoption of cloud ERP systems-based DX (Digital Transformation) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) through its extensive SAP S/4HANA transition project experience."
