[Financial News] The National Palace Museum announced on the 27th that it will operate the 'In-depth Investigation of Royal Heritage in Storage' every Wednesday from the 28th to the 11th of next month.
In the storage in Jongno-gu, Seoul, it provides an opportunity for transmitters in the field of national intangible heritage crafts to directly investigate royal heritage. In the first half of the year, clothing will be disclosed, and in the second half, accessories will be disclosed.
The first half investigation involves 10 transmitters in the fields of gold leaf, quilting, embroidery, and needlework. Together with museum experts, they will closely examine royal costumes such as Gonryongpo (袞龍袍) and Dangeui with gold leaf (outerwear worn as formal attire by court and noble women).
They will also investigate pattern plates used for embroidery and gold leaf stamping. The National Palace Museum stated, "We expect it to have a positive impact on skill enhancement and artistic activities."
