Kim Min-seok "Kim Moon-soo and Lee Nak-yeon, a combination with confirmed demerits... A coalition betraying democracy and violating the constitution"
"Lee Nak-yeon, who praised Chun Doo-hwan, concludes the grand finale of Sakura's actions... Only exploiting the democratic forces and embracing the insurrection forces"

[Financial News] The Democratic Party on the 27th defined the coalition between Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, and former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon as a "union of ruin" and launched a fierce attack.
Kim Min-seok, co-chair of the Democratic Party's joint election committee, criticized the Kim Moon-soo-Lee Nak-yeon coalition at a party briefing this morning, calling it a "union of mutual destruction," a combination that guarantees demerits. The term "mutual destruction" means sharing fate, whether good or bad.
Chairman Kim stated, "Today is a symbolic day where both a winning coalition and a losing coalition were declared," contrasting the joint declaration of progressive and conservative civil societies as a "winning coalition," while labeling the Kim Moon-soo-Lee Nak-yeon alliance as a "losing coalition, an unconstitutional collusion."
He continued, "The combination of Kim Moon-soo and Lee Nak-yeon lacks political excitement, meaning, and any judgment, making it a demerit partnership," and pointed out that "the union of these two is a thorough betrayal of democracy and constitutional spirit."
Criticism towards former leader Lee Nak-yeon was also intense. Chairman Kim directly criticized, "After attempting insurrection by refusing to accept the primary results and being abandoned by Lee Jun-seok, he has now joined with Kim Moon-soo, writing the final chapter of Sakura's actions." He further heightened his criticism by saying, "From writing articles praising Chun Doo-hwan in his youth to now, he has consistently betrayed the democratic forces, becoming a turncoat and a member of the insurrection forces."
