[Financial News] The National Busan Science Museum announced on the 27th that it will operate a mobile exhibition "Coding and Hydrogen," designed to easily understand coding and hydrogen, key themes of the digital age, from today until July 6 at the Children's Science Museum's first-floor touring exhibition hall.
This exhibition presents 10 types of mobile exhibits developed in-house to convey scientific principles easily and interestingly. Centered on the two themes of 'Coding' and 'Hydrogen,' the exhibition consists of 5 coding exhibits, 5 hydrogen exhibits, and 3 related experiential contents.
In the coding zone, you can experience algorithms, block coding, and artificial intelligence coding directly. In particular, before visiting the exhibition hall, a computing thinking diagnosis is conducted to enable customized experiences by age and level.
The hydrogen zone introduces the use, production, and storage of hydrogen in daily life. Visitors can experience the hydrogen production process and carbon capture and storage technology (CCS) through exhibits that apply a ball-drawing machine.
In addition to the exhibits, three experiential activities are also operated. In 'Finding the Shortest Path,' participants use arrow direction cards to pass through obstacles and learn the basic principles of coding, while 'Hydrogen Classification Play' involves distinguishing types of hydrogen by color and scoring for eco-friendliness. 'Creating a Future City Mural' is designed for participants to complete a future city by attaching their imaginative drawings to the wall.
Nam-Young Heo, head of the exhibition research department at the National Busan Science Museum, said, "We are developing various mobile exhibits in-house so that scientific principles can be easily accessed anytime, anywhere," adding, "This exhibition will contribute to the spread of science culture by touring not only local science museums but also various public cultural spaces."
This popup exhibition will be held at the National Busan Science Museum until July 6, followed by a touring exhibition targeting science culture-deprived areas and institutions affiliated with the Southeast Science Museum Council for two months in August and September.
