[Financial News] Amorepacific announced on the 27th that it presented research results on strengthening hair using AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology at the Korean Hair Society conference held at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam, Seoul on the 25th, and conducted related discussions with domestic and international experts.
Lachansu, a researcher at Amorepacific R&I Center, shared the results of discovering peptide sequences that increase hair tensile strength through molecular docking simulation and verifying efficacy through experiments. Kyung-Sook Kim, a professor at Kyung Hee University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering, presented research quantifying hair damage caused by diseases and chemical dyeing using precise analysis techniques such as atomic microscopy. Amorepacific plans to lead the global haircare market by integrating skincare technology into the scalp and hair field.
