Report abuse, corruption, irregularities, passive administration with one click... Expected to strengthen integrity in public office
【Financial News Gwangju=Hwang Tae-jong Reporter】Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it has established the integrated reporting system 'Corruption Alileo' to eradicate corrupt practices in public office and improve citizen access to reporting, and will fully operate it from June 1.
According to Gwangju City, previously, users had to find and access several reporting sites such as △Injustice Reporting Center △Passive Administration Reporting Center △Budget Waste Reporting Center △Recruitment Irregularities Reporting Center, depending on the type of corrupt act, which was inconvenient.
To address this, the integrated system 'Corruption Alileo' was established, allowing reports to be made with 'one click'. This system connects users directly to the relevant reporting system with a single click after selecting the type of report, allowing easy access without complicated search procedures.
Reporters can find the site that matches their reporting purpose through icons and brief descriptions provided for each type. In addition, a smartphone access feature is provided to easily report corrupt acts anytime, anywhere.
Gwangju City plans to actively encourage citizen use through various online and offline promotions such as posters and banners to increase the utilization of the integrated reporting system.
Im Tae-hyeong, Chairman of the Gwangju City Audit Committee, said, "This integrated reporting system is a practical improvement to minimize citizen inconvenience and enhance the integrity of the public office," adding, "We will continue to improve systems and expand convenience to implement citizen-centered clean administration."
