[Financial News] Lotte Mart announced on the 27th that it will hold the 'Hello Summer Festival' from the 29th to the 4th of next month. At the event, early summer seasonal foods such as watermelon priced in the 9000 won range will be sold at special prices.
Watermelon (5∼6㎏ less) is offered at 9900 won with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs discount support and event card benefits. Due to the ultra-low price, sales are limited to one per person. All watermelon items, including 'Black Winner Watermelon', 'WM12 Watermelon', and 'AI-selected Watermelon', are discounted by 30%.
Gangwon sticky tomatoes and American cherries, New Zealand green kiwis and gold kiwis, and Thai mangoes are discounted by 15% when purchasing two or more packs.
Directly flown Canadian lobsters are sold at a maximum discount of 40%. May to June is the period when lobsters are full of meat before spawning and are at their most delicious.
Lotte Mart explained, "By direct import, we reduce the middle distribution stage and maintain freshness by stocking in stores within 48 hours after packaging."
Convenient ready-to-eat foods and popular processed foods are also prepared. 'New One-Tong Chicken' is sold in the 9000 won range, and 'Western-Style Hamburg Steak' offers 3 additional pieces with the existing 5 pieces.
