Toss Surpasses 450,000 Cumulative Subscribers in One Year Since Credit Plus Launch

[Financial News] Toss (operated by Viva Republica) announced on the 27th that the cumulative number of subscribers for the Credit Plus service has surpassed 450,000 on its first anniversary.
Credit Plus is a personalized credit score management service introduced in collaboration with Toss and NICE Information Service. It is available for a subscription fee of 1,900 won per month, and provides specific methods to improve credit scores by analyzing users' loan and card usage history.
The average increase in credit scores for customers who joined Credit Plus was about 22 points. Looking at the subscriber distribution by age group, those in their 50s accounted for the highest proportion at 28%, followed by those in their 40s (24%) and 30s (20%). Additionally, compensation benefits for financial fraud damage are provided, with actual cases of compensation up to 10 million won.
Meanwhile, Toss also introduced the industry's first free credit inquiry service in partnership with KCB and NICE Information Service in 2017. As of this month, the number of monthly active users is about 4.5 million, with 1 in 6 Toss users utilizing this service daily.
