'Only Three Days' Paikdabang Americano 500 Won... Will Baek Jong-won's '300 Billion Coexistence' Be Released?

[Financial News]  Paikdabang, a coffee brand operated by Theborn Korea led by CEO Baek Jong-won, announced on the 27th that it will launch a discount event. The event will run until the 12th of next month. 

This discount event, part of a relay promotion, is one of the 30 billion won coexistence support measures announced by Theborn Korea, with the head office fully supporting the discount and promotion costs.

Paikdabang planned the discount event to increase franchise sales. Currently, Paikdabang franchises have been experiencing sluggish sales amid various controversies surrounding Theborn Korea and CEO Baek, such as violations of origin labeling and 'pesticide sprayer use'.

The promotion will be conducted in three stages for customers visiting the stores.

From today until the 2nd of next month, the popular menu item 'Ashotchu' (Iced Tea with an Espresso Shot) will be discounted by 1,000 won. From the 5th to the 7th of next month, Iced Cafe Latte will be sold at 1,000 won, discounted by 2,200 won, and from the 10th to the 12th of next month, the signature menu item Americano (hot or iced) will be offered at 500 won.

A representative from Paikdabang said, "We planned this so that many customers can enjoy Paikdabang's popular menu without the burden of price during the summer season. The head office will fully bear the cost to substantially increase franchise sales, and we will continue to build a coexistence model and strive for mutual growth."
