[Financial News] Hyundai Steel recently announced on the 27th that it held a 'Customers Day' event to invite major European customers for technology exchange and partnership strengthening, in line with the '2025 World Rally Championship (WRC)' held in Portugal.
This event was prepared as part of global marketing activities to expand customer contact points based on the stable operation of the European automotive steel plate business. Attending customers had the opportunity to directly verify Hyundai Steel's technological capabilities while observing the WRC site.
Through the meeting, Hyundai Steel shared △automotive steel plate production technology △U.S. electric furnace steel mill project △current status of electric furnace and blast furnace hybrid process construction △carbon reduction product performance evaluation results. A technology system that can flexibly respond to changes in environmental regulations in each country and customer-tailored solutions were also introduced.
Customers showed high interest by directly checking the materials applied to the racing vehicles and major parts with the Hyundai Steel logo at the WRC service park. It is evaluated that trust in the brand and technology has been further enhanced by watching the actual race together.
A customer representative said, "It was a beneficial opportunity to directly verify Hyundai Steel's technological capabilities on site," and "We plan to further develop the cooperative relationship in the future."
A Hyundai Steel representative said, "This event was a meaningful occasion to communicate with customers through technology and share brand value," and "We will continue to strengthen partnerships with customers through various global activities in the future."
