[Financial News] Korea Arts & Culture Education Service (KACES) is strengthening its global cultural arts education alliance.
According to KACES on the 27th, it signed an MOU with Finland's Children's Culture Association (ACCF) and the UK's creative design group Assemble on the 22nd and 24th in Seoul, respectively.
Development of Arts Education Model and Establishment of Global Cooperation System

This agreement aims to create a creative environment where children and families can freely experience quality cultural arts education in response to future societal changes such as low birth rates, aging populations, and rapid technological advancements including AI.
KACES explained that it plans to establish a global cooperation system to create a new cultural arts education model for future generations in collaboration with domestic and international experts and to spread it internationally.
The main contents of the agreement include △ joint development and operation of cultural arts education content for children, adolescents, and families △ joint exploration of ways to create a creative educational environment using the resources of both institutions △ exchange of arts education experts and joint workshops ▲ establishment of an international cooperation network and knowledge sharing, etc.

UK Assemble and Finland ACCF Participation, Expansion of Creative Spaces and Child-Led Arts Education Cooperation

UK's Assemble is a London-based creative collaboration group composed of experts from various fields such as artists, architects, and designers. It gained international attention by winning the prestigious Turner Prize for contemporary art in the UK in 2015.
Assemble is an organization with strengths in experimental space projects based on community participation and collaboration in various fields such as art, architecture, and design.
Finland's Children's Culture Association (ACCF) is a hub institution connecting 36 children's culture centers in Northern Europe, leading child-led arts education and play-based learning models. With this agreement, ACCF plans to strengthen strategic cooperation with Korea as a member institution of the UNESCO-affiliated ENO (European Network of Observatories in the Field of Arts and Cultural Education) and further expand the international exchange base for cultural arts education.
KACES President Park Eun-sil stated, "Artistic experiences empower children to ask questions, think, and express the world in their own language," adding, "We will develop innovative arts education models for future generations of children and families through cooperation with leading global institutions and create a creative environment."
