According to Daejeon City on the 27th, the Daejeon Bread Truck national tour, planned by the city and the Daejeon Tourism Organization to boost the '2025 Daejeon Midnight Festival', will tour major hub cities such as Busan, Chungbuk Chungju, Chungnam Boryeong, and Sejong for two months from the end of May to July, promoting the charms of Daejeon nationwide.
Starting with the Busan University Festival on May 29-30, it will be operated in conjunction with major national events such as △Chungju Dive Festival on June 13-15 △Van Gogh Exhibition at Daejeon City Museum on June 21 △Special promotion for government officials at Sejong Government Complex on June 25 △Hanwha Life Ballpark KBO All-Star Game on July 12 △Boryeong Mud Festival on July 26-27.
The Daejeon Bread Truck, welcoming Season 2, has become even more abundant. Participating are Daejeon's representative bakeries, including Seongsimdang, boasting unique tastes, while Daejeon City has ambitiously prepared 'Kkumdori Ramen' to join in promoting the Midnight Festival nationwide.
Daejeon City is utilizing the bread truck not just as a simple food supply vehicle but as a 'mobile city promotion platform'. The tour bus, wrapped with 'Midnight Festival' and 'Kkumssi Family' characters, enhances visual attention, and on-site, famous local bread and Kkumdori Ramen are given out, along with roulette, OX quizzes, nostalgic lottery games, Kkumssi goods prize events, EDM parties, and Kkumdori costume performances to engage visitors.
This promotion aims for synergy both offline and online through regional win-win marketing linked with the Hometown Love Donation System, SNS viral spread, field accompaniment by Daejeon City's global supporters and social media reporters, and collaboration with Daejeon promotional ambassadors. Through this, visitors can directly experience the authentic bread taste and character products of Daejeon, confirming the true aspects of 'Jam Jam City Daejeon'. This is expected to strengthen Daejeon's city brand value while leading to nationwide interest and participation in the Midnight Festival in August.

Meanwhile, the '2025 Daejeon Midnight Festival' is scheduled to be grandly held from August 8 to 16 for 9 days in the central road and old downtown area of Daejeon.
