The Military Manpower Administration is holding an 'Online Supplementary Service Industrial Skill Personnel Recruitment Fair' where individuals can fulfill their military duty while serving as manufacturing and production personnel at designated companies.
The Industrial Skill Personnel system is a system where individuals fulfill their military duty while serving at designated companies selected by the Commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration to promote national industrial development.
According to the Military Manpower Administration on the 27th, this online recruitment fair, which runs for 17 days from today until next month 12th, is prepared to provide necessary employment information to young people who wish to fulfill their military duty as industrial skill personnel and to offer designated companies the opportunity to recruit excellent talent.
The participants are those among the social service personnel conscription targets who wish to serve as industrial skill personnel. They can access the recruitment fair website to check the recruitment information of participating companies and apply to the companies they wish to work for.
Participants in the event can receive 1:1 customized employment support from employment experts during the recruitment fair period. This process includes prior review of resumes and cover letters, as well as mock interview coaching, and a service that recommends companies matching the participant's desired job and capabilities is also provided.
Various events are also prepared for participants. Among online job applicants, those who write excellent resumes and perform well in mock interviews will receive small gifts, and a separate lottery event for participants is also prepared.
The online Industrial Skill Personnel Recruitment Fair has been held annually since 2020 under the auspices of the Military Manpower Administration, and last May, 298 companies and 1,198 job seekers participated.
Jong-chul Kim, Commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration, said, “I hope this fair will be a valuable opportunity for young people facing military duty to find employment opportunities and for designated companies to meet suitable talent,” and added, “The Military Manpower Administration will actively support the fulfillment of military duty to help young people plan their future.”
