[Financial News]  It is reported that a key member of the conservative group Shin Namseong Yeondae, a man in his 30s, Mr. A, is under police investigation for drug charges.

Incheon Jungbu Police Station announced that on the 25th, they arrested Mr. A on the spot after receiving a report that he had administered narcotics classified as psychotropic drugs. Currently, the police have booked Mr. A (35) for violating the Narcotics Control Act and are investigating.

The police also revealed that Mr. A tested positive in a simple drug reagent test, and they have requested a detailed analysis from the National Forensic Service and are considering applying for an arrest warrant.

Mr. A is active as an executive in Shin Namseong Yeondae, which is headquartered in Jung-gu, Incheon. Shin Namseong Yeondae is a conservative group advocating anti-feminism, and its representative Bae In-gyu caused controversy by broadcasting live on YouTube during the Seobu District Court riot. Former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, who was indicted for rebellion charges, also sent a thank-you letter from prison.

Last month, the Democratic Party of Korea reported Bae and Shin Namseong Yeondae to the police for manipulating Naver News comments to create positive public opinion regarding former President Yoon Seok-yeol's declaration of martial law and rebellion acts.
