Additionally, Mr. A is a three-time fraud convict and in 2007, he deceived investors by pretending that commercial building sales were completed in Daejeon. It was also claimed that his marriage with Im Seong-eon is his 'third marriage'.

After the news report, voices presumed to be from victims continue in the comment section of Im Seong-eon's Instagram posts.

They expressed their grievances with comments like "Seong-eon, why are you deleting comments? I am a real victim of the housing association. You can check it. If you're confident, don't delete the comments," "I was also harmed. I had forgotten about it, but after the article came out, I was so angry that I came to Instagram. Don't you think of repaying the wedding expenses and congratulatory money?" "I am a housing association victim. Please tell OOO (Mr. A's name) to return my 100 million won. Was it nice riding a Bentley with someone else's money?"

Meanwhile, Im Seong-eon's agency Outrun Brothers Company stated in a phone call with News1 in the morning that regarding the exposé about Im Seong-eon's husband, "We will check," but also said, "Since it is the actor's family matter, the agency cannot know all the details. The company does not know well who the husband is."

Previously, Im Seong-eon held a wedding ceremony with Mr. A on the 17th. The agency had previously announced Im Seong-eon's marriage, stating that they promised a future based on trust with a non-celebrity prospective groom last month.
