[Financial News] Actor Go Min-si has denied allegations of school violence raised on an online community.

Go Min-si's agency Mystic Story released a statement on the 26th, stating that "(the school violence allegations) are clearly false and unfounded," and "we have appointed a legal representative today and have begun reviewing and proceeding with civil and criminal legal actions."

They further stated, "We express deep concern and regret that the reputation of our affiliated actor is being damaged by malicious posts based on false information."

Earlier that day, a post titled "Actor Go 00 School Violence Victims" was posted on an online community.

The author, identified as A, claimed to be a middle school classmate of celebrity Go OO, stating, "Mr. Go committed school violence, extortion, verbal abuse, and mocked and threatened disabled students from middle school."

They continued, "He habitually committed school violence by mobilizing surrounding delinquent groups and external groups, and habitually stole items and money from classmates, boasting and mocking about it, showing severe ethical flaws."

They added, "Nevertheless, Mr. Go continues his entertainment activities without any remorse, beautifying the past as a mere mistake," and "I do not want any apology or compensation from Go OO. I hope his activities are permanently suspended to prevent further harm."

A also clarified that the post was "written based on the consistent testimonies and facts of many then-middle school students," and appealed, "Those who wish to share their experiences of being harmed by Mr. Go, please raise your voices even anonymously."

They pointed out, "Mr. Go's attitude during his school days was delinquent," and "when past controversies arose, claiming it was a 'mere mistake' was beautifying the situation."

Go Min-si was also embroiled in controversy in 2020 when photos of him drinking as a minor were released. At that time, he apologized, saying, "I deeply regret my wrong actions" and "I will take a more mature and righteous path."

Although A did not directly mention the actor's real name in the post, they revealed Go Min-si's previous name and past photos, leading netizens to speculate that Go Min-si is the subject of the revelations.
